CT Communications has upgraded your Internet services by migrating to the Google Apps suite of communication tools, including email, calendar, Instant Messaging (Chat), file storage and personal websites. CT Communications invites you to try the Google Apps interface to access all of these services from a single location. By using the Google Apps interface directly, you will no longer need to use an email client like Outlook, Outlook Express, or Eudora, etc. Option 1.
Modify your email program configuration based on the following instructions: For POP / POP3 settings, browse to:http://mail.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=12805 For IMAP settings, browse to:http://mail.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=12806
IMAP allows you to keep separate folders for email on the server. With POP, you download all of your mail to your computer and then put it into folders on your computer. IMAP has the advantage that you can keep the mail on the server and you'll see the same folders even if you change email clients or when you decide to use only the Google Apps web interface.Option 2.
Use the Web Interface, which, is always the most reliable and secure method for accessing your email. Browse to https://login.ctcn.net, enter your email address and password, select either Google Apps or Postini Spam/Virus Filtering Quarantine and click the Sign into Selected Service button.
As always, our Internet Technical Support team is available to assist you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 937-653-4000, option 2 or 937-650-4000, option 2.
